After graduating from Monash in early 2023, I started as an Associate Consultant at Circana. This role has been the perfect launchpad, allowing me to collaborate with diverse health and beauty clients in Australia’s consumer goods industry.

HIGHLIGHTS
A major milestone in my career was securing a consultant role after less than 2 years as an associate. This achievement boosted my confidence and motivated me to embrace new challenges and push my limits.
I was also honoured to receive the 2024 Tony Palmer Award from Monash’s Department of Marketing, which included a year of mentorship from Tony himself. This incredible experience reshaped my approach to workplace challenges and provided me with a clearer vision for structuring my career path.
MY GRADUATE
EXPERIENCE
During my graduate role, I worked with diverse clients – from multinational corporations to small family businesses. This provided valuable insight into different business operations and the dynamics of working with various personalities.
The experience helped me develop essential analytical skills, strong commercial acumen and the ability to foster great client relationships. It laid the perfect foundation for identifying what I’m truly passionate about – and what I’m not.
In my view, discovering these preferences is one of the most important aspects of any graduate role.

The opportunities at Monash are truly invaluable. Programs like the global marketing study program, industry/alumni mentoring and the marketing internship unit provide exceptional career-building experiences. So embrace opportunities that challenge you – they offer priceless lessons and growth.
Start stepping out of your comfort zone early; the sooner you do, the quicker you’ll see results. And once you secure your first full-time role, surround yourself with people who inspire and challenge you, bringing out your best.
