My path has been shaped by a love of learning and a passion for marketing and education. Studying business and marketing opened the door to a career that blends curiosity with purpose. And becoming a Marketing academic was a natural next step.

I’m proud to have authored textbooks and led research that pushes boundaries in marketing, education and psychology.
But the real highlights? Supporting my students’ growth. Celebrating their success. And helping bridge the gap between theory and practice through collaborative, industry-engaged projects.
Winning teaching awards and being recognised internationally for educational innovation is an honour. But seeing students thrive is what truly drives me.

EXPERIENCE
Starting full-time work at RMIT felt like a natural progression as I was already a qualified educator by the time I graduated.
My business degree lit a fire in me for both marketing and teaching, and I’ve been lucky to land a career that lets me bring those passions together.
That blend of practice and purpose still guides me every day.

To quote Socrates: ‘Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel.’
Follow what excites you and stay curious. A degree is just the beginning – the real journey is lifelong learning.
So keep asking questions. Stay open to discovery and you’ll be amazed by the opportunities that unfold.
