Covering everything from large-scale business networking nights to hands-on case competitions and community-focused socials, here’s everything you need to know – and why you won’t want to miss it.
Corporate Connections
While one of the most anticipated events of the semester has already wrapped up, we feel it’s still worth noting. Because Corporate Connections delivered exactly what it set out to do: bringing over 130 students and industry professionals together in a meaningful way.
For the people who have previously found networking intimidating, this event showed just how casual and welcoming it can be.
The relaxed, open-format setting allowed students to speak directly with professionals across marketing, consulting and business. It was all about building genuine connections – sharing insights, asking questions and quite simply just hanging out.

White Night
Looking for a break from assignments and a chance to celebrate?
White Night is the event to lock into your calendar. This flagship social brings together the MMSS community for a dress-to-impress evening filled with live music, dancing and interactive experiences (there may or may not be a runway).
It’s a chance to strengthen friendships while meeting new people – and be part of one of the biggest nights of the semester at the whole university. The only rule: You must wear white.

- Why participate? Music, dancing, prizes – and the list goes on! It’s the kind of night where you roll in with friends and leave with a few more.

Brand Workshop and Case Competition
If you’ve ever wondered what working in marketing’s really like, this is your chance to find out.
The Brand Workshop and Case Competition is all about applying what you’ve learned in class to a real-world challenge. You’ll work in teams, tackle a live marketing problem and pitch your ideas directly to industry representatives.
It’s practical, fast-paced – and great preparation for internships or grad roles.

Wings for Life
Wings for Life is the MMSS event that combines social connection with a meaningful cause.
This member-exclusive experience supports Red Bull’s global Wings for Life World Run initiative, raising awareness for spinal cord research. It’s a more relaxed, feel-good event focused on community and giving back.
Running resumes not required!
